The latest music video "Qué Sorpresa" by Havana D'Primera brings new flavor and energy to the famous tune by the Los Van Van orchestra originally released in 1994.
The video follows the amusing back-and-forth between lead singer Alexander Abreu and a couple of women on a music video shoot: the difficult director and a fun actress. Though the track remains true in lyrics and form to the original version by Los Van Van, it is certainly not lacking in originality. Tastefully reimagined horn lines, hits by the percussion section, and a breakdown to an entirely new pair of choruses in the final moments of the song highlight Havana D'Primera's ability to honor the old while giving it a new spin.
