"Last Patrol" - Monster Magnet [Official Full Album Stream]

This summer, Monster Magnet announced a new record and the first full US tour in 10 years. Now, they are delivering on that promise. The album, Last Patrol, is slated for release October 15th, but you can stream the whole thing right here in advance.

The record is a psychedelic whirlwind of space-rock, with surreal imagery and vintage tape effects throughout. The songs range from slow-burning epics like the titular "Last Patrol" to tunes full of hard rocking badassery like "End Of Time." The album can take the listener from a hazy garage to an interstellar cruiser and back in the span of a few minutes, which means it's classic Monster Magnet.

The warmth of the recording is notable as well, even in the digital stream, so we expect the vinyl version will sound spectacular.
