Kiwi teen sensation Lorde is back with a new video for "Team," the latest single from her wildly successful debut album, Pure Heroine. Watch the dark, mysterious clip above.
Like "Royals" before it, "Team" finds Lorde sounding surprisingly world-wearied ("I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air") for a 17-year-old. Like "Royals" before it, "Team" is propelled by a mid-tempo electro-hop beat and a chorus that tests the upper limits of Lorde's falsetto. Unlike "Royals," "Team" has a video that features some sort of hybrid between motocross and jousting.
