"Touch The Sky" - Big Gigantic [SoundCloud Audio]

The electronic producers from Boulder, Colorado have matured into something far more noteworthy than just a jazzy DJ duo. Yes, the saxophone is and always has been Big Gigantic's defining feature, but their latest single, "Touch the Sky," exemplifies their ability to appropriately blend and arrange various musical elements from different genres. The soul / trap thumper booms in every which way possible, utilizing saxophone-driven build-ups, relentless drops, and piercing chopped-up vocal samples.

"Touch the Sky" is the first single to be released from Big G's upcoming album, The Night Is Young, which is due out sometime in February of 2014. Although it's all quite unclear as to when exactly we should expect more material, Big Gigantic has said on their SoundCloud page "... keep an eye out for the download, music video, winter tour dates, and more info on the release in the coming weeks."
