"Air Balloon" - Lily Allen [YouTube Audio & Lyrics]

In November, Lily Allen stirred up quite a hubbub with the controversial video for "Hard Out Here," her first new song in four years, and now she's followed it up with another single. "Air Balloon" trades its predecessor's cynicism for carefree charm, and it's now available to stream above via YouTube.

With a beat bolstered by hand claps and a punchy bass drum, the song finds Allen in good spirits, singing about her uncle's monkey and getting to first base with Elvis. Especially with her post-chorus "na na nas," Allen spends a good deal of the song sounding like a less pissed-off M.I.A. This is cheeky British pop music at its most radio-friendly.

"Air Balloon" is the second single from Lily Allen's yet-to-be-titled new album, which also has yet to receive a release date. Until all of those details get hammered out, keep yourself entertained by revisiting the "Hard Out Here" video.
