On January 3rd, Mac DeMarco stopped by Canada's CKUA radio for a live acoustic set, in which he performed three new songs. Listen to the full radio show above, with new tracks appearing as follows: “Treat Her Better” at 4:18, “Salad Days” at 8:38, and “Let Her Go” at 11:30.

Apparently, all three will be featured on an upcoming album entitled Salad Days, which DeMarco says will be out in April. Some high points of his set include his attempt to "sing the guitar solo" in "Treat Her Better," his quavering falsetto (peppered throughout the set), and his skat-like vocals at the end of "Let Her Go."

DeMarco also performed at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar on Friday, and We All Want Someone to Shout For's Will Oliver caught two new tracks ("Treat Her Better" and "Go Easy") on video. They're both in the YouTube playlist below. There's a fair amount of crowd noise, and the audio's not the greatest, but it's cool to hear stripped-down versions of songs we'll inevitably hear in a more fleshed-out format in a few months.

Stay tuned for more info on Salad Days, and head over to Mac DeMarco's Zumic Artist Page for more music, videos and current tour dates.
