The unlikely pair of A-Trak and Cam'ron have an EP called Federal Reserve on the way, and today they've shared a track from it. "Humphrey" is a return to Cam's old school Dipset sound, and was co-produced by Action Bronson collaborators Party Supplies. Check it out above.

Despite the apparent differences between the Fool's Gold label boss and the veteran Harlem MC, "Humphrey" shows that their paths are more closely intertwined than you'd expect. The song's instrumental recalls Kanye West's various productions for Cam's Dipset crew in the early '00s, which makes sense because A-Trak got his start as Kanye's tour DJ. Funnily enough, A-Trak scratches in a clip of Kanye rapping "Cam got the shit to pop" (from "Touch The Sky") towards the end of this song. It just goes to show, almost everyone in the hip hop and electronic worlds are just a few degrees separated from Mr. West, the rap game Kevin Bacon.

Stay tuned for more details on Federal Reserve, and head over to A-Trak's Zumic artist page for more of his music and videos.

Cam'ron & A-Trak ft Party Supplies "Humphrey" lyrics:

[Ad-libs]
Always tryin' to doubt a nigga 'round here
But I ain't never really lost nothin' man
Harlem!

Dame said I'm buggin' 'cause I wanna fight B. Hop
I said, 'I'll fuck him up' after two months of detox (true)
Besides that, eight mil for Reebok
I'll take him to the ballpark, that's thirty three shots
You're tellin' me I need not
You must not remember young Killa that hustled in his weak spot
When he had the black Lex and I pushed tree tops
Somebody talk about him and they woulda got a speed knot
This is when me and her sorta ran the G spot
Older niggas left her and we came in with green tops
Listen here so you got my vision clear
Never fought pro but I made niggas disappear (poof)
Niggas know not to fuck with me (word)
And my record is sucka free
This money I been makin' it work
So A-Trak let's take 'em to church
They don't hear me though

[Add-libs]
Know what I'm sayin?
I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian
I gave my all
Banks will still lend you money if you prove you don't need it, know what I mean?

My parents got high, no lie, there's no shame (nah)
The product and dust lust, and cocaine
Still cool with some niggas though that sniff 'caine
Then grow weed that grow hair like Rogaine
Heartless to the core, feel no pain
That's models, hood rats, old flames
Bitch niggas, haters, famous no-names
(Who you?) Street fighter (Are you?) I throw flames
On the strip, no strippers
But she suckin' the tip I might tip her (I might)
Understood in my hood that's the way we go
You can't comprehend or understand the ratio
From a baby yo, pop got no money for milk, the three-eighty blow
Up, up away we go
No cash to help out your lady yo
Well look out for baby bro (Damn)
Should I rob a bank? Tell me something -- yes, go, maybe, no
What I do next? Get crackhead fellatio
They thought I was slow like Radio
Couple years later though, they heard me on the radio

[Ad-libs:]
Woah, woah, yeah
Killa, A-Trak
Know what I'm sayin'
It's heartfelt

[A-Trak scratches:]
Killa Cam in the buildin'
Dipset!
What the game been missin'
Somethin' incredible that's about to take place
Cam got the shit to pop

[Ad-libs:]
Real life shit
What you gonna do Dame?
Go get that money, set that up man
