Yesterday, UK record label Young Turks took over Australian radio station FBi 94.5 for three hours, letting Four Tet, Jamie xx, Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis all sit behind the boards for DJ sets. There were several new tracks played, the most noteworthy of which was "Seesaw," a collaboration between Four Tet (AKA Kieran Hebden) and Jamie xx. Listen to a radio rip of that song above.

A charming, burbling bouncer, "Seesaw" offers a great blend of the duo's style. Basically, it sounds like one of Hebden's usually-knotty compositions molded into semi-poppy territory by a vocal sample and other bright flourishes, which seem to be more in Jamie xx's comfort zone. Based on this, a longer-form collaboration (à la Hebden's previous work with Burial) sounds like a great idea.

The Young Turks takeover included some other great moments, such as Earl's deadpan humor (for example, insisting to be addressed as FKA twigs, and saying he wrote and composed The Sylvers "Only One Can Win"), Earl playing Charles Bradley's Black Sabbath cover, Sampha showing up to play an unreleased version of his song "Demons," and Four Tet's new Ellie Goulding remix. You can stream the entire show over at Self-Titled Mag's SoundCloud page. Below, check out a picture taken at the radio station, and tweet from Kieran Hebden about said picture.
