In honor of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles first trip to the United States and breakthrough success on The Ed Sullivan Show, David Letterman is hosting Beatles Week where popular artists are covering Beatles songs. Last night, Lenny Kravitz played "Get Back" with his band and Dave's house band leader and keyboard player Paul Shaffer on Fender Rhodes.

This version is pretty true to the original Beatles song recorded and released in 1969. The main difference is that Lenny Kravitz owns the song with his unique vocal style that is a lot different than Paul McCartney's original vocal that was heavily influenced by Little Richard.

For more Beatles Week performances, check out Sting with Ivy Levan and Mike Einziger performing "Drive My Car" and Broken Bells performing "And I Love Her" right here on Zumic.
