Lorde continues to develop as a soulful pop singer, much to the delight of fans around the world. The New Zealander stopped by Breakfast with Matt & Alex on Triple J radio in Australia to talk about her recent success is so abnormal and how it's affecting her writing new material. She also covered James Blake's "Retrograde" - an exceptional slow burning new school R&B tune from 2013 - for the show's running feature Like A Version. Lorde's voice is powerful and truly unique. It is mesmerizing to see her get into a song and use her body to sing, dance, and really feel the music. Her keyboard player struggles a little bit with the song and it sounds very stiff, but it's a live radio performance of a song not in their repertoire so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
