Award shows can put together some really talented people for once-in-a-lifetime performances and collaborations. Yesterday during The Brit Awards, Disclosure performed with Lorde on a version of "Royals" unlike any we've heard yet. That segued into a performance with Aluna Francis from AlunaGeorge on their song "White Noise" which was featured on Disclosure's 2013 debut album, Settle.
Disclosure give their own unique stamp on "Royals" and while it isn't as catchy and triumphant as the original recording of the song that's become so very popular. There are some teases on the "White Noise" groove during "Royals" and then the tempo picks up and Aluna Francis takes Lorde's place on stage, singing to the crowd. Very cool moment.
The single is available on iTunes, with proceeds going to the War Child charity.
