Although Thee Oh Sees aren't actively playing right now -- with frontman John Dwyer focusing most of his energy on his solo project, Damaged Bug -- the band is still releasing a brand new album for Record Store Day 2014. Today, they've shared a trippy video for "The Lens," a cut from the forthcoming record, Drop.

The video is a Yellow Submarine-esque journey through an acid-fueled world of art, with an astronaut flying through the air among paper cut-outs and flashback-inducing colors. The song is a slow, pure psychedelic jam, with swelling orchestral strings and steadily surging drums, all culminating at the end with a short "Bohemian Rhapsody"-influenced horn solo. Check out the Alex Theodoropulos-directed clip above.

Drop will be out April 19th for Record Store Day. No pre-orders for this one, so you may actually have to get out of the house and go buy some music.
