The Allman Brothers opened up their annual run of shows at New York City's Beacon Theatre by playing 3 songs they had never played before: "Rain" by The Beatles, "Dusk Till Dawn" by Warren Haynes, and "1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)" by Jimi Hendrix.

My first reaction upon seeing this information on the jambands.com setlist was "1983?!?? The epic 3rd side to Electric Ladyland? How could The Allman Brothers possibly cover that?" As you can hear above, they did not disappoint. They look like they're really having fun!
