Kimbra has just released the video for her highly-eclectic new song, "90s Music." The audio version of this song was already colorful and the video helps to further give it a silly and cartoonish feel. To be honest, it'd be pretty hard to describe this music video and do it justice. You might not be sure exactly what you're watching, but you'll like it.
Now, if you're unfamiliar with Kimbra she was female singer on Gotye's ubiquitous hit "Somebody That I Used to Know." The New Zealander is known for intermingling genres seamlessly, which is what she does on "90s Music."
The song features guitar by Matt Bellamy, the lead singer of Muse, and also has vocals from Matt Foster, the lead singer of Foster the People. If you're a nineties baby like myself, or if you just found the nineties to be a strange and hilarious decade, you'll probably appreciate this musical adaptation of it.
You can buy Kimbra's single now on iTunes. Expect to see this track on her upcoming album, The Golden Echo.
