This morning, the music video for Vic Mensa's "Feel That" was released, and it really does the catchy song justice. To start the visuals, Mensa vents to a friend that he is getting bored with his repetitious lifestyle. Vic's buddy says he has just the solution, and gives him psychotropic ear drops to get rid of his boredom. Taking the drugs leads to a fun and eventful evening.

In the video, the emcee jumps around in a bounce house with attractive women, gets a sensual massage, and is woken up by friend and frequent collaborator Chance the Rapper to party. The two Chicago rappers dance around with their friends, and seem to have a genuinely great time. There isn't much of a story in the music video, which is fitting since "Feel That" isn't one of Mensa's intricate lyrical songs, it's a banger.

Although it is a lighthearted, boastful song, Mensa's creativity and wit still shine through on "Feel That." The song exemplifies Mensa's versatility; he makes party music, conscious music, and soulful music. Aside from being a rapper, Vic was also the lead singer of indie band Kids These Days, until they split in May. His latest single, "Down on my Luck," ventures into EDM. Vic took to Twitter early this morning, defending his variety of music:

Vic will be guest-starring on Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out tonight at 11 PM EDT on MTV 2. His debut solo EP, Steet Lights, will be coming out later this year. Be sure to stay tuned to Zumic for any releases the talented emcee puts out.
