Spoon have shared a third song from their forthcoming LP, They Want My Soul, and things get trippy in the video.

"Inside Out" is laid back all the way through, with ethereal sounds building as the song progresses. Synth harps, swelling pads, and a smooth bassline lead the way above an electronic drum kit. It's a different direction than the garage rock we've seen with the other two singles, "Rent I Pay" and "Do You," but it maintains the Austin band's old school aesthetic.

The video -- edited by Mau Morgó with photos by Todd Baxter -- is a series of reality distorting jumps through time and space. The images on screen melt away into one another, with psychedelic patterns emerging throughout the chaos. Check it out above.

They Want My Soul is coming out on August 5th. The band is offering a free 10" record -- featuring "Rent I Pay," "Do You," and "Inside Out" -- to customers who pre-order the vinyl from an independent record shop. You can find out more details at Vinyl Gratification. You can pre-order the album digitally on Amazon and download all three tracks as well.
