The eccentric Lady Gaga knows better than anyone that the world has indeed gone mad today and certainly, anything goes. Check out the studio video, as Gaga and Tony Bennett impressively cover the 1934 classic “Anything Goes.”
Bennett and Mother Monster (who dons three different wigs throughout the video) are very friendly as they croon over the sounds of a swing band. In a Rolling Stone interview, Bennett even affectionately referred to Gaga as “the musical Picasso.” Gaga certainly lives up to the name as she, once again, displays her artistic diversity on this jazzy track. “Anything Goes” is the first single from Bennett and Gaga’s upcoming collaborative jazz album, Cheek to Cheek, which is set to be released on September 23rd.
