English doom metal band Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats have released "Runaway Girls," the A-side from a single set for release on August 25 via Rise Above. You can listen to the track above. The split single will come backed with an acoustic version of "Devil's Work" as the B-side.

Drawing an early '70s Black Sabbath influence, the song is full of heavy distorted riffs and echoey vocals courtesy of Kevin Starrs (aka Uncle Acid). Combined with ferocious drumming towards the end, it's a slow-churning, psychedelic inspired piece of music that will leave your ears ringing.

The 7" is available for U.S. pre-order via Last Rights Records. For more music, news, and tour information, check out the Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats official website.
