The 2014 Coachella music festival features a variety of headliners, and apparently, quite a few unexpected guest performances. Nas, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his iconic Illmatic album, performed a surprise collabo with former rival Jay-Z. The two performed  “Dead Presidents II” and “Where I’m From." The performance was certainly nostalgic of the energy found in '90s East Coast hip hop.

Nas also shared the stage with forever name-changing P. Diddy / Puff Daddy for "Hate Me Now" and, in total, performed a set list of 14 songs, mostly from Illmatic. Fans can also celebrate the album's anniversary with Nas' upcoming documentary film, Time is Illmatic.
