Gatorade and ESPN are teaming up for a documentary on Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III in his rehabilitation from a gruesome knee injury. In conjunction with that, Redskins fan Wale has recorded a song called "No Pain, No Gain" that's featured on the trailer:

The two have some history together. During Wale's radio interview on Hot 97, Griffin called in and they seemed like old chums talking about RG3's upcoming wedding. In an interview with Hip-Hop Wired, Wale said he first met RG3 the night he was drafted in 2012 when they were both at the 40/40 Club. Wale added, "I played football for twelve years so I know a thing or two about electrolytes, too."
RG3 certainly suffered a lot of pain in his rookie season in the NFL. He took some hits that caused his lower leg to practically fall off his body, and also a few headshots. He showed arguably the best combination of talent that any quarterback has shown in the history of the league, passing and running the ball exceptionally well. His return from injury is one of the most interesting storylines going into the 2013 NFL season, and the Gatorade documentary looks very interesting.
