Glam rockers The Darkness have shared a music video for "Open Fire," the second single from their upcoming album titled Last of Our Kind. Watch the video above via the band's YouTube
The song is a no-holds barred rocker, complete with '80s inspired guitar riffs, thunderous drumming, and singer Justin Hawkins' ear-piercing screams. While "Open Fire" may sound similar to The Cult's "She Sells Sanctuary," "Open Fire" displays the band's ability to crank out party rocking songs with an edgy attitude.
The video shows the band rocking out on a shoreline, and clips of fire-eaters are interspersed within. The band proves here's no need for an over dramatic music video when you rock as hard as they do.
You can listen to the previously shared "Barbarian" here on Zumic.
Last of Our Kind will be available on June 1st, and is available for pre-order via Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
