Prophets of Rage, a political supergroup consisting of members from Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill, have released their debut EP, The Party's Over. Band members on the album consist of vocalists Chuck D and B-Real, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, drummer Brad Wilk, and DJ Lord.
The five song EP contains two original songs, "Prophets of Rage" and "The Party's Over." The other three songs were recorded live, and feature their cover of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing In The Name," "Shut Em Down," and "No Sleep Til Cleveland."
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Tom Morello described the group as, "an elite task force of revolutionary musicians determined to confront this mountain of election year bullshit, and confront it head-on with Marshall stacks blazing."
The Party’s Over is currently available on Amazon. You can also stream the full EP above for free, via Spotify.
