Kodak Black has been busy since his release from jail earlier this June. After unveiling the cover art for his upcoming LP Project Baby 2 on XXL and teasing it on YouTube with "Dream Doll" and Future-collab "Boost My Ego," the controversial rapper has released a video for "Patty Cake" from his most recent album Painting Pictures. Watch it above, courtesy of the artist's YouTube channel.

Sampling "襲撃 (Attack)" by Japanese video game composers Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu and Junya Nakano, "Patty Cake" is a bouncy track with a bright hook that name drops pasta sauce brand Ragu and Canadian television character Caillou. The lyrics also include the line "I'm cooler than LL," which is a reference to Kennedy Center honoree LL Cool J.

Taking cues from the juvenility of the song title, the video shows an animated Kodak attend high school, womanizing and brightening up the otherwise stale environment until he's eventually crowned as prom king. Directed by Michael Garcia, the clip is a clever combination of live action shots and animated effects, which complement the carefree rambunctiousness of the song.
