Check out this YouTube playlist we created of the 5 Beatles songs that were performed in concert for the first time ever by Paul McCartney, in chronological order:

Paul McCartney opened up his Out There World Tour yesterday at Mineirão, Belo Horizonte in Brazil and played an incredible 38 songs, including 8 beatles songs during an epic double-encore.

As if that wasn't mind-blowing enough, Paul and his band played 5 Beatles songs that he had never performed live in concert before. Ever. The songs were Eight Days A Week, Your Mother Should Know, All Together Now, Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!, and Lovely Rita.

McCartney and his band also played 2 Wings songs that they had never played before: "Listen to What the Man Said" and "Hi, Hi, Hi".

Big credit goes to his band, who must have spent lots of time learning and practicing the classic tunes. The YouTube videos that have surfaced are generally poor audio / video quality, but the band sounds very much up to the challenge as they sound bloody brilliant!

Setlist.FM notes:

Note: Big surprises on the first night of the Out There! Tour as 'Eight Days a Week', 'Your Mother Should Know', 'All Together Now', 'Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite!' and 'Lovely Rita' are all played for the first time ever in concert. 'Eight Days a Week' was never actually performed live by The Beatles in 1965 as some sources suggest, they just mimed to a recording of it on the TV show 'Thank Your Lucky Stars'. Also, 'Listen to What the Man Said' and 'Hi, Hi, Hi' are both played for the first time in concert since the Wings Over the World tour in 1976. It should be noted that 'Listen to What the Man Said' was played by Paul and his solo band at several promotional appearances in 1987 and 1988 including at least one TV show.
