Back in February, Houston band The Suffers released their self-titled debut album. Today, they've shared an entertaining music video for "Peanuts," the final track on the LP. Watch it above, via the band's YouTube.

The action-packed music video features Kam Franklin and Nick Zamora on a mission to kidnap their bandmates. When they accomplish their task, they gather together for a friendly water balloon fight. It's a lighthearted video that shows the band's joyful personality.

"Peanuts" demonstrates that The Suffers are one of the most soulful bands out there. A funky rhythm provided by keyboards, bass, and drums compliment Kam's passionate vocals. Bursts of horns lively up the track, providing an energetic sound. Singer Kam Franklin spoke with Billboard about how the song's lyrics pertain to an argument in a relationship:

For "Peanuts," the idea was to squash the argument for once, and remember why you got together with that person in the first place. Maybe it was their eyes. Maybe it was the way they made food for you. Who knows?

The Suffers' self-titled full-length album is available on Amazon. You can also stream the full LP and read our review here on Zumic.
