As of February 17th, according to Nielsen SoundScan, Pearl Jam's debut album Ten has just surpassed 10 million copies sold.

Released by Epic in 1991, Ten is now the 22nd album to reach Diamond status since the company began keeping track in 1991. Following its release, the record slowly climbed to number 2 on Billboard's chart and became Pearl Jam's best selling album. The singles "Alive," "Even Flow," and "Jeremy" all became hits over the course of the following years. Ten ranks at #14 on Billboard's 1990 - 1999 end of decade chart.

Other notable albums to have recently received Diamond certification include Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, Usher's Confessions, and Adele's 21.
