The Men just dropped the first single, "Pearly Gates," from their highly anticipated fifth album, Tomorrow's Hits. The album, due out March 4 on Sacred Bones, was recorded entirely live in a frenzied two-day session at Brooklyn's Strange Weather Studios. Unsurprisingly then, "Pearly Gates" proves to be a rollicking return to form, especially after last year's laid-back acoustic Campfire Songs EP.

The track kicks off with a killer blues riff and doesn't let up, continuing for nearly six and a half minutes of raucous, winding punk experimentation, complete with blaring horns, honky-tonk piano, and crazed, sneering vocals that simultaneously evoke Dylan, Westerberg and Lou Reed. Basically, "Pearly Gates" is pure, grimy rock n' roll magic.

The Men Tomorrow's Hits Tracklist:

01 Dark Waltz
02 Get What You Give
03 Another Night
04 Different Days
05 Sleepless
06 Pearly Gates
07 Settle Me Down
08 Going Down
