The Detroit rapper teased his fans with the DJ Khalil-produced track back in March with its feature in the Southpaw movie trailer. "Phenomenal" also made its way to a Beats by Dre commercial, starring Golden State Warriors basketball player Draymond Green.

The song is similar to Eminem's last solo single "Guts Over Fear" due to its energetic production and uplifting lyrics regarding perseverance and strength. He raps in the second verse:

Let me self-empower you
When you're down and they're tryin' to clown the fuck out of you
When you feel like you're runnin' out of fuel
I'll show you how to use doubt as fuel

Em appears to be quite the action star. The video is nothing less than astonishing with thrilling scenes and astounding visual effects. Filmed in Tokyo, the visuals feature the Detroit rapper waking up in a hospital with superhuman abilities. Everything from fight scenes, explosions, skydiving from helicopters, rocket launchers, and cameos from John Malkovich, Randall Park, and Dr. Dre are all included.

Fun fact: Southpaw is inspired by Eminem's real life struggles, and Em was sought out by the film's screenwriter, Kurt Sutter, to star as the film's protagonist.
