Phosphorescent is releasing a deluxe (or rather, "De Lujo") edition of his excellent Muchacho LP, and it will include audio from a concert he played in London's St. Pancras Church on January 30th. That full concert is now available to stream via SoundCloud.

Featuring five songs from Muchacho and seven from various other albums, Phosphorescent's set is stripped down and minimal compared to the rich, full-bodied sound of his recent studio material. But what's sacrificed in arrangement is more than made up for in intimacy, as it pretty much feels like Matthew Houck's playing a private concert five feet in front of you.

Phosphorescent is about to kick off a tour that makes 17 stops in Europe before concluding with a four night run at the Music Hall of Williamsburg from December 18-21. Tickets for two nights of that are still available on Ticketmaster. You can buy Muchacho De Lujo from Dead Oceans Records.
