Earlier this year, J Mascis and Sharon Van Etten covered "Prisoners" for the John Denver tribute album The Music is You. Today, humor website Funny or Die posted an accompanying video starring Aimee Mann and Jon Wurster (who plays drums in Superchunk and the Mountain Goats).

Set in a world where John Denver fans dress and act like their idol, the "Prisoners" video finds Wurster and Mann each searching for a companion that shares their love of John Denver. Mann goes so far as to search "DenverDate.com" for a suitable partner, but neither she or Wurster seem to have much luck in their respective hunts for lovers that are nearly identical to themselves. The pair finally meet, fittingly, on a hike. It's instantly clear that they're acoustic guitar-crossed lovers, and they live happily Denver after.
