After two nights on the David Letterman Show last week and an absolute rockdown show at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple on Friday, Queens Of The Stone Age continue supporting the release of their latest album …Like Clockwork in London.

As reported by Spin.com, QOTSA stopped by BBC’s Live Lounge with Sara Cox where they performed a folksy rock cover of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”. The song was stripped down to Dean Fertita and Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar plus Josh Homme vocals and his fantastic, yet simple pill-bottle shaking accompaniment.

"I feel so lucky. You wanna hug me. What the hell rhymes with hug me?"

Maybe Josh Homme retained most of the refrain lyrics in his version, but there was some humming and ad-lib changes that diverged from the original, mostly the lyrics covered by T.I. and Pharrell. Think a lot less glamour and a lot more soul, and you have your QOTSA "Blurred Lines". It’s a surprising and positive result!
