Show up for Bowl Train on Thursday nights at the Brooklyn Bowl, and Questlove will move you to the funk and groove of the 70s through to classic hip-hop of the 90s, mixing in reggae and chart-topping pop hits. The crowd is just as much of a mix: bowlers leave the lanes to get down to James Brown as the flashy disco lights flood and circle the dance floor. Questlove fans flock in to see what the master will mix, as tourists visiting Brooklyn mix with locals and watch as the always-entertaining Soul Train show shimmies down from the each of the big screens.
