Lady Antebellum have done a fantastic unplugged bluegrass / country version of Imagine Dragons' hit song, "Radioactive." Watch video of the group performing the song above, via their official YouTube channel.
The mostly acoustic treatment is a very cool take on the song, which originally was recorded with more of an electronic rock vibe. Charles Kelley takes the lead on vocals, with Hillary Scott backing him up. The banjo plucking, acoustic guitar, mandolin, walking bass, and simple train snare beat along with shaker and tambourine work together beautifully. At only two-and-a-half minutes, it could easily be an old-school 45 rpm single. We'd love to see them do a proper studio recording of the song and maybe throw in a little instrumental section featuring Mr. Dave Haywood on mandolin or guitar.
