Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O recently released her debut solo album, Crush Songs on Cult Records. To celebrate the release, she announced various listening parties in homes around the country, hosted by production company Sofar Sounds. She crashed one of these parties, held at a loft in Tribeca, to perform her song "Rapt," and you can listen to it above.

The space where she's playing is quite intimate. Audience members are sitting down, fixated on Karen O as she sings this downtempo, melancholy song. She has a way of enrapturing the fans in the room as she sings, it's delicate yet there are hints of playfulness, especially towards the end as she concludes with an adorable ad-libbed squeal. What resulted was an amazing surprise for the people at the party and a wonderful way to celebrate her new album.

You can watch the official music video for "Rapt" right here on Zumic. The album is out now and you can pick it up on Amazon.
