Sensational indie rockers Real Estate are to begin recording their follow-up to 2011's critically acclaimed Days this July. It is unclear as to when they plan on releasing their third album, however, according to Real Estate's bassist Alex Bleeker, "2014 is going to be a heavy Real Estate year.”

In order to record the album, Bleeker's time with his other project, Alex Bleeker and the Freaks, has been hindered, as well as guitarist Matt Mondanile's involvement with fellow New Jersey rockers, Ducktails.

Bleeker gave the following statement in an interview with Paste Magazine:

We have to get creative with the scheduling... Real Estate had a really intense 2012, and 2013 has been pretty mellow, but its starting to ramp up again. Real Estate has been on a break to the outside world, but we’re full-on with each other writing the album.

That's all the information available as far as the new album is concerned. The band's next upcoming event is a set at Treasure Island Music Festival, taking place in San Francisco October 19th-20th. Tickets can be purchased on the festival's official website here. A new album means an upcoming tour to promote it, so stay connected with Zumic for any future Real Estate album or tour updates.
