A few days ago, Yeezy dropped a two-for-one special with "Real Friends" featuring TY Dollar $ign, and a snippet of "No More Parties in LA" featuring Kendrick Lamar.
The tracks were produced with a star-studded collaborative effort. "Real Friends" was done with Boi-1da, Frank Dukes, and Havoc, while "No More Parties in LA" was in conjunction with Madlib and traces back to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy sessions in 2010.
"Real Friends" gives an insight to Kanye's current emotions regarding his career and his relationships. The artist, designer, husband, and father of two struggles to keep in true contact with loved ones with such a demanding career and life constantly gnawing at him from all angles. Ty Dolla $ign's lines represent the voices of 'Ye's old friends.
Although the snippet is just over a minute, "No More Parties In LA" gives promise of what to expect from his next album, Swish. Over the weekend, Kanye took to Twitter to reveal the release date for the long awaited album will be February 11, 2016.
