Simon Cowell's newest boy band, PRETTYMUCH, is headed back on tour soon and they just dropped a single to remind fans that everyone should come out for a good time. The band toured with Khalid earlier this year and impressed with their strong vocals and impressive choreography. "Real Friends" was a surprise release before their one-month Funktion Tour, which starts tomorrow in Seattle.
With lyrics like, "You don't have to be a 10 or a model" and "Don't need a table reserved, there ain't no line to get in," this PRETTYMUCH song paints an image that their shows will be a space where everyone is welcome to have fun. In their tour announcement video, Zion Kuwonu of the group explained:
It's called a tour, [but] it's more of a party. Look, we ain't coming to your city to put on a show. No, we coming to party with y'all and sing and dance and vibe out with y'all. It's a Funktion.
The lyric video features a collage of videos and pictures of PRETTYMUCH performing as well as with fans. The song itself is a true party song, upbeat with heavy bass. The chorus encourages listeners to "pull up to the Funktion" and "party til the world ends." Overall, the message of the song is that the band just wants to have a good time with good people, listening to good music. They will be touring America and Canada from October 18 through November 18, 2018, so get tickets to see them in your city.
