Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison is releasing his first solo album tomorrow, under the moniker Owl John. So far, he's already released the video for his first single, "Hate Music," which is available right here on Zumic. Today he's put out the video for the song "Red Hand," and you can watch it above.

The video has a simple concept: A woman takes a bath and gets ready for the day, but the situation quickly becomes uncomfortable. Immediately after she gets in, the water turns into blood and she submerges herself in it. Everything is shot in slow motion, so every detail of the scene is ingrained in your memory. It's disturbing, strange, and hard to look away from. The video ends as the protagonist looks in the mirror, sees a red mark, and tries unsuccessfully to wipe it away as the lyrics ominously repeat, "Maybe it's nothing."

Check out the latest single, "Stupid Boy" right here on Zumic. Owl John is out August 5th on Atlantic Records. You can pre-order it from the Owl John website.
