Post-apocalyptic hip-hop group Deltron 3030 released a new music video for their song, "Do You Remember" yesterday. It's the fourth video off of Event 2, 2013's long awaited and much anticipated follow-up to their 2000 debut album Deltron 3030. As with the previous album, this album takes place in the year 3030, and the new music video gives us a glimpse of what that future might look like. Terrifyingly enough, it's very similar to life today.

The story follows an old man as he spends his last day on Earth, sat in a gold wheelchair and accompanied by a beautiful woman. He frequents all his old spots, visits a graveyard where he laments the loss of everyone he has loved, and ends the day on the beach, where he finally gets the freedom he desires.

The song uses its very solemn refrain, sung by Jamie Cullum, very effectively. He sings of times past, and it sounds like an old record. Del the Funky Homosapien raps of reminiscing about better times, while stuck in a dystopian future. The video is a beautiful compliment to this song, it's sad but stick around for the ending you'll either find it horrifying or bizarrely hopeful.
