Havoc, 1/2 of the classic hip hop duo Mobb Deep, has just released a raw new track called "What I Rep" featuring D-Block's Sheek Louch. The song gives fans a taste of what to expect for his upcoming 4th solo album, 13 Reloaded, which is set to be released on November 18th.
The fusion of Queens' Havoc and Yonkers' Sheek Louch gives us a gritty sound hip hop purists should adore. Over the Havoc-produced, '90s style beat, the veterans boast and brag about being born and bred in the streets of NYC. Shooting guns, selling drugs, stoop chilling, and showing absolutely no fear are all part of the hardcore lifestyle these rappers espouse to. Havoc rhymes, "Go ahead nigga act silly / Wipe your feet off 'fore you step in my city / I'm in tune with niggas that stand for what I stand for / If not, y'all know it's motherfucking war." Listen above, via YouTube, as Havoc and Sheek rep their city.
13 Reloaded is available on Amazon (MP3) and iTunes.
