One year after David Morrissey left The Smiths to go solo, they reformed for one show at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall. The footage from the entire 40-minute set from 1988 was recently posted online. Apparently, at this time, the other members of The Smiths were suing Morrissey, but the show seems to go unaffected by this. Entrance was free to anyone wearing a Smiths or Morrissey t-shirt.
