"Revise Your Maps" - John Moen [Soudcloud]

John Moen is a true force in the behind-the-scenes music scene of Portland. Maybe best known as the drummer for the Decemberists, Moen is an indie-rock lifer. Now, under the alias Perhapst, Moen is getting ready to release his second album Revise Your Maps on June 25th. The title track, released yesterday, gives a glimpse into the new album which Moen reports, "is a little bit about stage fright" according to Billboard.com. "Being willing to play music for people, but frightened to do so. That's one of my own hangups with my music." If the song is any indicator of what Revise Your Maps will be like, we may have a new relaxing album to lay on the beach with this summer.
