"Right Time" - Nikki Lane [YouTube Official Music Video]

South Carolina native Nikki Lane has released a video for her song "Right Time," which you can watch above. The track is from her album All Or Nothin' that was released on May 6th via New West Records.

The video features Nikki playing the role of a woman who exacts revenge on an alcoholic husband, an intolerable boss, and a cheater. "It's always the right time to do the wrong thing" is the song's chorus and that's exactly what these characters have done: the wrong thing. Nikki drives around in a classic Pontiac GTO and a black leather jacket (certainly not the country gal she is often portrayed as!) Besides knowing her way around a guitar, she knows how to handle a bat, a tire iron, and a can of gasoline. The video is a simple, yet effective, compliment to the dark nature of the song and its lyrics.
