Katy Perry's Billboard-topping single "Roar" got the jungle treatment in the newly released music video. Inspired by shows like Lost and Survivor, the video follows Perry after her plane crashes on a tropical island. Her boyfriend becomes a tiger's dinner early on, but Perry perseveres in the forest, befriending a monkey and an elephant along the way. It's a fun video that fits well with the motivational song.
"Roar" is currently the #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, having just dethroned Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" after 12 weeks atop the chart. "Roar" is the first single from Perry's upcoming third album, Prism, which is due out on October 22nd. You can pre-order the album now on iTunes, and receive "Roar" instantly. More tracks will become available for download in the weeks preceding the album's release.
