Today, Hamilton Leithauser shared his single "Room For Forgiveness." He calls it his "drumming debut" and played every instrument on the track. Listen to it on the SoundCloud audio stream above.
The track is full of merriment from start to finish. A light acoustic riff along with a bunch of clapping softly introduce the song. Then, it jumps to life once the thumpy, jolly, bassline comes in. This is the exact kind of song you would want to play at a party. On his website, Leithauser even insists for his fans to have a drink on him since you can download the song for free.
This song is a stand alone single, following his debut solo album which he released earlier this year. Leithauser's much beloved indie rock band, The Walkmen, are currently on a hiatus that also began earlier this year.
Hamilton Leithauser's solo album, "Black Hours," is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
