"Rough Detective" - The Dead Weather [Spotify Audio]

Continuing in their now-tradition, The Dead Weather have given us another taste of their upcoming 2015 album. Originally on the B-side of the "Open Up (That's Enough)" 7" single, "Rough Detective" is now available to stream digitally. Spotify users can listen to the track above.

The track is a staccato descent into stereo-paranoia, more heavily produced than its side-A counterpart. "Rough Detective" starts smoothly enough, slowly adding hard-panned elements to the mix, with raw, rock and roll synth sounds permeating throughout while Jack White and Alison Mosshart bounce back and forth on the vocals.

Jack White and company will continue to release two-song singles for the duration of 2014 leading up to the release of The Dead Weather's new album.
