Rodrigo Y Gabriela have just released an impressive live performance video for their song "The Russian Messenger," from their upcoming album, 9 Dead Alive, out April 29th.

Filmed in southern Mexico, Rodrigo Y Gabriela are shown in an intimate studio setting. The song itself is enticing, featuring intricate and fast-paced guitar work, but the most compelling aspect of the video is how effortless the duo makes it seem. It is an extremely mesmerizing performance.

"The Russian Messenger" draws its inspiration from the late Fyodor Dostoyevsky, the novelist popularly known for Crime and Punishment.
