Sharon Van Etten shares her love for New York City in the music video for her new song "Seventeen."  Watch it above on YouTube.

Sharon shared a quote on her Facebook page about the song and video saying, "It is with tears in my eyes that I am sharing with you my love letter to New York.  Places I have lived, lost and found myself, let go of and embraced.  Thank you to all the brothers & sisters that held me up over the years."

The heartwarming track fades in with a solid foundation of steady drums, piano, and electronic noise.  "Seventeen" swells with intensity, as a free-flowing rock anthem. Sharon sings about her youth and how she has matured, with a balance of joy and anguish.

Directed by Maureen Towey, the video shows Van Etten singing the song and being shadowed by her younger self as she travels around NYC and where she grew up in New Jersey.  Some music venues that make a cameo in the video are Baby's All Right, Pianos, and Union Pool.

Remind Me Tomorrow is scheduled for release on January 18, 2019.  Pick it up on Amazon.  Last October she shared a music video for "Comeback Kid."

Sharon will begin a North American tour in February.  For concert tickets and more, check out Sharon Van Etten's Zumic artist page.
