The two best-known members of Harlem's A$AP Mob appeared last night on Arsenio to perform their collaborative track "Shabba," from Ferg's recent album Trap Lord.

As is the case with many Hip Hop performances on network television, Ferg and Rocky had to alter the lyrics to "Shabba" so as to not break any of the FCC's "Obscene, Indecent and Profane Broadcasts" guidlines. As a result, the duo's rapping didn't flow quite as well as it does on the song's explicit version, but the A$AP mobsters somewhat salvaged the performance with swaggering stage presence and a hard-rocking live band. We're willing to bet that the song's namesake, Jamaican dancehall star Shabba Ranks, never guessed his name would incite headbanging.
