The ladies of the UK-based post-punk band Savages are empirically awesome. The wave of buzz accompanying the release of their debut album propelled them all the way to Chicago this past weekend for a set at Pitchfork's Music Festival.
Watch above as they command the audience with their scathing track "She Will," which, in singer Jehnny Beth's words, is "for the ladies." During the chorus, take notice of Savages drummer Fay Milton holding the ride cymbal with one hand and beating the freaking life out of it with the other. Again, these ladies are awesome.
